The space
On the ground floor there's a sitting room with an electric fire for cozy evenings and a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for self-catering, including a washing machine. The kitchen backs onto the fenced back garden which overlooks farmland and grazing sheep. The garden has outside seating for summertime family lunches or a morning coffee with some fresh air.
On the first floor there is a double bedroom, single bedroom and family bathroom with shower.
The top floor has a twin bedroom.

Kenardington sits between Appledore and Hamstreet. This is a good part of the world to have a car and no fixed plan.
Camber Sands is the obvious first day out. Rye is 20 minutes.
Gusbourne Estate, one of Kent's best vineyards, is close by.
The Romney Marsh rewards slower exploration: quiet lanes, ancient churches, big skies, very little traffic.
