Sometimes you need more than a holiday. If you're between homes, waiting on a sale, having building work done, relocating to the area or simply need a proper base in the countryside for a few months — Ashby Farms has fully furnished properties available for stays of one to five months.

Everything is ready to move into. Bring yourself, your things (space permitting) and your pets.

📦 Relocating to Kent

New to the area and want to get the feel of it before committing to a purchase? The Romney Marsh, Rye, Tenterden, Ashford and the surrounding villages are all on your doorstep.

🚐 Caravan park close period

If your park has a compulsory close period — typically 4–8 weeks in winter — we can provide a warm, fully furnished base for exactly as long as you need. No long commitments, pets welcome, and you're staying in familiar Kent countryside.

Properties available for longer stays

Three of our properties are best suited to longer lets:

Roughlands, Woodchurch

A private self-catering bungalow on a quiet lane near Appledore, with a large garden, BBQ, and private fishing lake access a short walk away. Two bedrooms sleeping up to 5. Ideal for families or dog owners who need space and fresh air. Up to 2 dogs welcome.

Spring Cottages, Kenardington

Three-storey cottages at the edge of Kenardington village, farmland on three sides, with a fenced garden. Three bedrooms sleeping up to 5. Good for families or couples. Dogs welcome.

Old Farm Flat, Romney Marsh

A quiet, characterful self-catering annexe set down a farm track on the Romney Marsh. One double bedroom, sleeping 2. For couples or individuals who need privacy and countryside on the doorstep. Dogs welcome.

What's included in a long let

All properties are fully furnished and equipped for everyday living: kitchen with all equipment, washing machine, TV, garden. Wi-fi, utilities and electricity are billed separately.

Rates are different from our holiday prices — discounts apply for stays beyond one month. Pets are welcome.

A security deposit equivalent to one month's rent is required to secure a long let. Long lets cannot be booked online — contact us to discuss your requirements and we'll take it from there.
