Fisherman’s Lodges
Tucked into private woodland beside two stocked fishing lakes on a family farm near Woodchurch, Kent — these seven timber lodges are for anglers, nature lovers, walkers, and anyone who needs to properly switch off. French doors open straight onto your own deck at the water's edge. Rye, Camber Sands, and the Kent and East Sussex coast are all within easy reach when you feel like venturing out.
The space
Each lodge is a cosy, timber-built cabin sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms: two ground-floor twins and a double mezzanine bedroom accessed by a sturdy ladder. There's a shower room, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open-plan dining and seating area with large French doors opening directly onto your private deck with outdoor seating — and the lake just beyond. Larger groups can book multiple lodges together — see group bookings.
Guests often tell us they love how quiet it is. Just birdsong, the odd splash from the water, and the kind of peace that’s hard to find. Whether you're here to fish, spot wildlife, walk the countryside lanes, or just decompress, the lodges make an easy base for all of it.
Private lake access
Each lodge sits directly beside one of our two private fishing lakes. Access is exclusively for guests. Just you, the water, and however long you want to spend there. Read more about what’s in the lakes and fishing rules here.
