Fishing - Angling  Fishing is available in 2 private lakes (only 10 yards from Fishermans Lodge) all the year round. The Lakes contain Bream, Gudgeon, Roach, Rudd, Tench(up to 5lb.), Common and Mirror Carp (up to 30lb.), Perch (up to 5 3/4 lb.). Seasonal Fishing Between 16th. June to 15th. March - Angling is also available in streams and dykes on our farmland, where there is also some Pike. For the benefit both of fish and fishermen, we restrict the number of people allowed to fish at any one time.		Perch November 2001
Free Fishing There is normally a charge for Fishing but free fishing is sometimes available for residents (see Price List).
Shooting Rough Shooting - Rabbits, Pidgeons, etc. on our farms (not in the woods around Fisherman's Lodge), is available to residents. After your holiday rough shooting is generally available for an extra daily charge.  Clay Pidgeon Shooting Organised Clay Pidgeon Shooting is available on a farm 3 miles away. We can provide an area for you to set up your own traps etc. for regular customers.
Fishing after your Holiday During the 12 months after your holiday, with the exception of weekends and bank-holidays, you are entitled to fish in our waters. Permit price is the normal daily rate and is subject to availability.
